Meet Katherine
Director
Hello! My name is Katherine, and I have been working in the childcare and early childhood education field for nearly 20 years. My passion for working with children began at a young age. At just 16 years old, I started teaching a small martial arts class, where I discovered how much I enjoyed teaching, encouraging, and connecting with children.
By the time I was 19, I was working in a toddler classroom, and I knew I had found the career I wanted to pursue. I went on to attend Arapahoe Community College in Colorado, where I earned my Associate Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. While attending college, I had the wonderful opportunity to work at the college's childcare center, and after completing my degree, I became a teacher in their Twos classroom.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children and families in Colorado, Montana, and now Washington. My experience includes teaching toddlers and preschool-aged children, kindergarten enrichment, working as a special education paraprofessional, and supporting children during off-track periods throughout the school year. These experiences have allowed me to work with children of many different ages, abilities, and learning styles.
On a personal level, I am also a proud mom of four wonderful children and a grandmother to one beautiful grandbaby. My two youngest children are still at home and are both in middle school. Being a parent myself has given me an even deeper appreciation for the trust families place in childcare professionals and the importance of creating a caring, supportive environment for every child.
Today, I am proud to serve as a director, where I can use my years of experience to support children, families, and teachers. I truly love what I do and feel incredibly fortunate to have built a career centered around helping children learn, grow, and feel confident and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where every child can thrive.

The best things in life are the people we love, the places we’ve been and the memories we’ve made along the way.
